anyone up for some counter strike action? i just reinstalled it on my comp. i wonder if there are still war3 mods out there… hmmm

Having had a few opportunities to play around with Microsoft’s Kinect camera peripheral over the past year (then it was still called Project Natal), we were eager to try the seemingly finalized version displayed at E3 (see the video below for highlights from our hands-on session).

The first thing we noticed was that the Kinect hardware was visually very close (as far as we could tell) to the demo devices seen as far back as E3 2009, despite rumblings from Microsoft reps during the year that the design was subject to change. It’s a physically large device, and not as easy to blend into a home entertainment center as a thin Wii sensor bar.

NOAA’s 2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season Outlook calls for an 85% chance of an above normal season. The outlook indicates only a 10% chance of a near-normal season and a 5% chance of a below-normal season. See NOAA definitions of above-, near-, and below-normal seasons. The Atlantic hurricane region includes the North Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, and the Gulf of Mexico.

Looks like El Nino had a greater affect on storms in the Atlantic than anticipated. While the season is not officially over the region is a mess with wind shear.. it will probably take something generating in the Gulf Of Mexico to affect the States.

For some reason the right bar is not showing in IE8… no worries for now since I don’t have time to mess with this thing

I don’t like it…. it is similar to the pattern we had 2 years ago and suffered a nasty drought. Only time will tell but it isn’t looking good this month! Hopefully things will change.

But when will we see it?  Remember the BF2 delays?

The second video is truely amazing.  When can we try it?

The decomm was long overdue and I finally got around to it.  No sense in having a large content based system for a few users!  I’m not sure where this is going to go from here but you guys are welcome to stick around.
